Kim Jordan's Music Lessons
Introduction: Piano lessons can be fun! If you're looking for an activity that will bring structure and discipline to your child's development in a creative and engaging format, try lessons with me! With 25 years teaching experience (I started teaching in high school) and children of my own, I have the skills to see the unique abilities and challenges of each student and modify instruction to meet your goals for your child. .
I specialize in helping young children (ages 4 and up) begin their music instruction and develop a love of learning and music. Over the years, however, I have taught students ages 3-70, beginning through intermediate levels.

I began taking piano lessons from Mrs. Jordan when I was four years old. I am now an eighteen year-old pre-med honors student, and I attribute a large amount of my success to my lessons with her. Despite being her student for fourteen years, she still finds ways to make music challenging, educational, and above all else, fun.
Mrs. Jordan is a master educator, spending however long is necessary with each individual student to figure out the way that they prefer to learn. In my large amount of experience with her, I have never once seen her give up on a student. Unlike many music teachers that I have studied under, Mrs. Jordan genuinely cares about the success, happiness, and advancement of her students, and I am proud to have studied under her. I was once one of the most lazy students that anyone had ever seen. Now, my work ethic is befitting of a future doctor, all because Mrs. Jordan found a way to make piano lessons something I WANTED to go to. If you are lucky enough to have your child take lessons from Mrs. Jordan, you will NOT be disappointed.
I should also mention that Mrs. Jordan is not full of herself, like most expert teachers. In fact, when I started to play some extremely advanced piano, she offered to help me find another teacher, despite being more than capable. Of course I flat out refused, as when one has the option between gold and iron, one will always choose gold. Mrs. Jordan's music lessons are a golden opportunity for anyone who wants to learn about the wonderful world of music.

Kim was a great piano teacher! My parents had me take lessons from 2nd grade up, and Kim definitely helped me grow in my skills as a player! She was a fun teacher and made learning music a joy. Before I entered college, I spent a summer learning music theory with her which helped me tremendously during the fast pace of my college music theory courses. I highly recommend her!!

Kim is an amazing music instructor. She has a patient and gentle way of teaching with my younger daughter, and she is able to challenge and guide my older daughter who is now in her 4th year of lessons. I would highly recommend her.
