FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I bid in the costs of driving and meeting, plus the costs of taxes, plus the cost of time spent doing the work. If it is something like copying data from one disk to another, then the hourly cost is a lot less since that process can run in the background for a couple of hours.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Determining the need, meeting with them and then creating a list of tasks or requirements for the job. If they are happy with the task list, then performing the work. Finally, making any adjustments that need to be made.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
College degree and many years of experience that includes hands on training, performing the work for customers and also teaching and managing other technology professionals.
