About
I am an Animal Behavior Collage Graduate offering in home Canine Behavior by using positive reinforcement. I offer a four (4) Basic Obedience in Home Dog Training package that focuses on sit, stay, come, down and to heel on a leash. I also focus problem behavior such as barging out the door, jumping on people, stealing, pulling on the leash, housebreaking, and crate training. Advanced In Home Dog Training five (5) week package. This program teaches your dog to sit, stay, come, down, heal and to obey without a leash. This advanced off-leash program will also address any behaviors you do not approve of, such as jumping on people, bolting out the door, counter surfing and any housebreaking issues. I enjoy bringing dogs and their owners together through training, teaching, and obedience.

There aren’t enough positive words to describe Star - she has genuinely changed our lives with her training! Our 7 month old pit bull was super hyper, anxious and stubborn when we called her for help. Now at 9 months old, we can actually relax and enjoy his company! She helped us with the basics like sit stay come, but also with tougher things - separation anxiety, chewing on cushions when left alone, becoming the alpha over the dog, not jumping on guests and more. We learn new things every week and she has an answer for everything we struggled with. I recommended her to a family member who also got a new puppy, and she has raves about her as well. I would recommend her over any other trainer i’ve Seen or used in the past with prior dogs. Thank you Star!!

Star is an awesome trainer. She targeted the areas with our dog we were having challenges with, as well as general obedience. Our English Bulldog was immediately receptive to her style, and his training is going very well. Star's value is exceptional, and her quality of training far exceeded our expectations. I have already recommended her to friends.

We have a 10 week old Maltese. We hired Star to help us train her. I was very impressed with the 1st visit. Maggie (dog) and myself were both trained. I didn't realize the challenge. I look forward to working with Star and watching Maggie continue to learn.

We have loved our dog training experience with Star. She has a special way with animals, both nurturing and authoritative. She is punctual and pleasant. She taught us how to address crate training, potty training, door behavior, walking on a leash, digging, and biting. She was 100% available by phone and text during the week if we had any questions. When our puppy "graduated" from beginning puppy training, she was awarded with a personalized certificate and treats, which shows how much she loves her job and her "students." We look forward to working with Star in the future for more advanced puppy training.
