I am an Animal Behavior Collage Graduate offering in home Canine Behavior by using positive reinforcement. I offer a four (4) Basic Obedience in Home Dog Training package that focuses on sit, stay, come, down and to heel on a leash. I also focus problem behavior such as barging out the door, jumping on people, stealing, pulling on the leash, housebreaking, and crate training. Advanced In Home Dog Training five (5) week package. This program teaches your dog to sit, stay, come, down, heal and to obey without a leash. This advanced off-leash program will also address any behaviors you do not approve of, such as jumping on people, bolting out the door, counter surfing and any housebreaking issues. I enjoy bringing dogs and their owners together through training, teaching, and obedience.

Star is an awesome trainer. She targeted the areas with our dog we were having challenges with, as well as general obedience. Our English Bulldog was immediately receptive to her style, and his training is going very well. Star's value is exceptional, and her quality of training far exceeded our expectations. I have already recommended her to friends.

We have loved our dog training experience with Star. She has a special way with animals, both nurturing and authoritative. She is punctual and pleasant. She taught us how to address crate training, potty training, door behavior, walking on a leash, digging, and biting. She was 100% available by phone and text during the week if we had any questions. When our puppy "graduated" from beginning puppy training, she was awarded with a personalized certificate and treats, which shows how much she loves her job and her "students." We look forward to working with Star in the future for more advanced puppy training.

Star is amazing, I had called her as I had a new puppy, an English Labrador which are known to be hyper. But this puppy was more than hyper, he was a little aggressive and out of control and took absolutely no notice of me. I needed help! The first meeting with Star had my puppy calmer, he walked beside me instead of pulling, she stopped him from biting me, and she had him not jumping on people, all in the first session. We have worked each week on various training techniques, she even came to Petsmart on one of our sessions so she could show me/Rupert how to greet strangers and what I needed to do to make it a pleasant experience instead of a dread going out in public. Rupert is so much better now and is an absolute joy. No more aggression, he knows to drop and leave, wait and come, and mostly he isn't jumping up. She also gave me tricks and techniques to stop him from becoming bored and destructive. We no longer need her as all we need to do now is continue reinforcing her training techniques, but we will miss her for sure.
