We had our whole house painted by The Best Painters... I mean I everything in the home got a fresh coat of paint, the ceilings, the trim, the doors and the walls plus the garage. Alex did an amazing job fixing multiple places that had significant drywall damage (one area was so bad by the fireplace my family thought we got new sheetrock not a patch job). We also paid for new 4" baseboards to be installed, they look amazing and the price was hard to beat for the quality of work. What we liked most about Albert and his team was they came back at the end job and we could point out a few things we would like touch up. Albert even said over the next few months if we find any areas that need touch-up to let him know and he would send someone out to fix it. We have arrived a few painters and by fair, The Best Painters really are the BEST!
We had to have new drywall placed where our old backsplash was taken up. John did a great job and matched another quote. Work was done next day and in a very timely manner. Highly recommend.
Daryll was extremely professional and very reasonably priced for his quality work. He was on time, completed the project quickly and left no mess behind. I would absolutely recommend him for any Drywall project.
Jeremy and his crew repaired several drywall settlement cracks and misc. drywall repairs throughout the house and also retextured some drywall that had previoulsy been done incorrectly. He also did the electrical work to add two new ceiling fans on our back patio and installed three new fans. The quality of work was very good and they showed up when they said they would. I would recommend Simply Home Repairs.
Doug did an excellent job. He was professional with his attention to detail and patient with me as I continued to add tasks to the job. He painted our garage doors/trim and shutters after repairing them and restoring them to good working order. He also recaulked our entire master bathroom, straightened out and tightened all the kitchen cupboards as well as did some drywall repair and hung curtain rods. I would recommend him to anyone in need and most definitely hire in the future. Oh, and he also fixed the striping on the bottom of our door going to/from the garage. He took it off the hinges and did it right by ensuring it was stapled onto the door (wasn't done by our homebuilder).
Jim did an excellent job painting! I wanted the job done before moving in and he worked me into his schedule. The brand of paint he used is very good quality and he can help with choosing colors. He also did some drywall repair and can do other handyman projects. I would highly recommend giving Jim a call.
Rigo was great to work with. He did an excellent job and was quick about it. I could have probably found someone who was cheaper, but the quality would have been cheaper and taken more of my time. I recommend Rigo for your drywall needs.
Finesse painting did a great job painting the interior of my house, and did so for a reasonable price. They were courteous, professional, and fast. Nick was upfront about the cost for the job, and repaired all of the holes I had in my drywall. There were areas where curtain rods were removed, and Nick took care of them as well. If I need painting done again, I'll be sure to hire Finesse painting.
Ron was amazing. Very detailed and excellent work on wallpaper removal, new drywall surface, and painting. We are bringing him back for more projects. We would highly recommend him.
Do you ever watch one of those DIY shows on television and suddenly believe you could be a craftsman producing amazing results in a fraction of the time and cost the "professionals" charge? So you set out to create something amazing only to realize that you have neither the experience nor the skill to even approach something you would be proud to show your family and friends. That basically sums up my latest project of creating an office out of a spare bedroom. After demolition, wiring, and elementary drywall came time for finish work. A few YouTube videos and several visits to the local home improvement store quickly made me realize that I was in way over my head. So instead of trudging away throwing mud and money all over the room I swallowed my pride and a large amount of sheetrock dust and admitted defeat. I needed professional help (despite what my wife says I meant professional sheet rocking help not the mental therapy she constantly suggests). I turned to Thumbtack and quickly had several bids all very competitive. In the end I selected Time4LSM. The decision was not just based on price. David answered all my questions and even made suggestions of what I could do whether I went with him or not. He was very professional and a wealth of knowledge. At first we scheduled the work to be done at the end of the week but after I explained my dilemma and how other pieces of the office made this kind of an emergency, David offered to be at my house at 7 AM on Monday morning (just a day after I gave him the job). I eagerly accepted. David arrived early to the job with all of his equipment. He was courteous and professional. He worked quickly and went above and beyond making sure all of the texturing matched the existing house. He offered tips and was in and out quickly helping me put my project back on schedule. I would definitely recommend him with confidence. My wife has permanently posted his business card in plain sight almost as a Handyman Bat Signal so the next time I binge watch HGTV and get some kind of crazy remodeling idea she has someone to reach out to in order to save what little ego I have left.
Tricky job. Drywall repair in popcorn ceiling in two story entrance way over stairs. Needed scaffolding. They covered everything and cleaned up afterward. Started on time. Worked all day. They also did drywall repair around window. Great job. Will use them again.
I hired Adrian for a project that involved installing a hanging rod in the closet and anchoring it into the drywall, as well as hanging a piece of artwork. He kept me in the loop as to his arrival time. He was very friendly, professional and completed the job in a timely manner at a reasonable price. I would highly recommend him for any type of home project, and will hire him in the future should I need any kind of assitance.
EXCELLENT RESULTS!!! SOLID TEAM, CONSISTENT FOLLOW THROUGH!!!! THIS IS WHAT WORKING WITH A CONTRACTOR SHOULD BE!!! Josh Rudin and his team at ASAP RESTORATION completely restored our home after it was flooded. We are so happy we ended up hiring them. They knew how to work with our insurance company and were always delivering a great quality job on time. Jason was our Project Manager and I know we couldn't have gotten through all of this without his help as well. Everything from sheetrock to drywall and painting to door trims was well done. We got to know the staff well, and they were such nice people with good work ethic. ASAP also has great sub-contractors. We couldn't be happier with our kitchen and bath cabinets and countertops. They recommended great quality products and have the right professionals for installation. I'm in the design business myself and had never been through an experience like this with flood damage. I can't say enough about the professionalism and follow through from ASAP. I would and will recommend them to my friends and family. Also important to note, if they have a point of view on something that would look better, listen to them, they know their business. We went back and forth on a few finish options and whenever I took their advice, I was happy with the end result! I may be a designer, but I believe you can always learn something new if you stay open! Here's the reality check. You as the customer have to do your homework too. Don't expect them to bring you lots of floor samples and counter top samples and cabinet samples. That is time consuming and not part of their job. But do feel free to ask them for advice on where to go to check out materials, they have great sources!! My opinion is, when you go through something like this, you have to take the time to understand what your insurance company is willing to pay for. Talk to your adjustor if you have questions. And once you know, for example, what your budget is for kitchen countertops, go check out material pricing at Lowe's. Then you can have a reasonable conversation with your contractor. If you don't do your own homework and just leave it in your contractor's hands, you will be fine - just don't complain if it isn't exactly what you imagined. Hiring a contractor is a 2 way relationship. If you don't do your part, you shouldn't complain unless something is actually installed wrong. We are very happy with all the work performed by ASAP!! SO GRATEFUL TO ASAP RESTORATION FOR MAKING OUR HOME BEAUTIFUL AGAIN!!
Mike was very timely. Came out within 2 hrs to look at job and gave me price. It was a drywall job so he put first coat on and returned a few hrs later to finish. We were very pleased with service and plan to use him in the near future.
We hired Ralph for one drywall repair job and thought he did great work so we asked him to come back for a second job at another location. He is on time, professional, polite and we are looking to have him come back after the new year for another job. 5 stars!
a continued review with drywall photos (see last review for doggie door) - HCN patched up a drywall piece for me and will be returning to do more work! They are a great remodeling/repair company! -- drywall to be painted and texturized
We found Larry and Joe on Thumbtack. They are both very nice and very skilled at everything that they did for us. Their drywall and texturing ability is amazing - you can't even tell there was a hole in the wall. Thye are also great at installing deadbolts and changing locks. They also installed a ceiling fan. They did a great job replacing the outside siding from termite damage. They removed a doggie door and covered the hole so that you can't tell it was there. We highly recommend them!!!!
Dan did an outstanding job of drywall work, caulking, molding repair, and painting. We would hire him again.
Fast and friendly, they completed my drywall repair in just a couple of hours. They also took the time to explain the materials used and what I could expect for drying time and gave me painting recommendations--much appreciated!
I'm so glad I hired mike. I started the job myself but realized drywall work was not my specialty. Mike had a great price and did a much better job than I would have. Would definitely recommend him.
We needed a drywall project completed in an accelerated timeframe and Sterling (Castle Butte) responded quickly. In addition to be friendly and reasonable, the quality of work was very good. We look forward to doing business with Castle Butte in the future.
