Ken's work was great, he took exactly as long as he said he would, he was friendly and efficient. He painted some outside trim that wasn't even part of the job, and didn't charge me for it. I would definitely hire him again.

Ken painted my home and storage shed, repaired my fence, repaired water damage to the foundation of my home, plus other miscellaneous jobs. He is a very hard worker and does a great job. I would recommend him for any job you need done by a professional.

This company did an excellent job. Once he got started he didn't stop until all three offices were completely painted. You would never know a painter was here after he was done. I plan to use him to paint two more offices.

Ken did a great job! Our house looks fantasic, he did the living area, a bedroom, kitchen and our cabinets. We were thrilled with the work he did and how professional and helpful he was- especially when the job became a bit more complicated than expected. Thanks Ken!

FAQs

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

How to Choose a Paint Contractor for Your Home For residential work, more and more homeowners and tenants are choosing to use painting contractors rather than doing the work themselves. This is to save time and labor, and to achieve the best possible job. ConWhen assessing a paint job, the potential do-it-yourselfer should consider such things as: How much surface preparation is needed and will I have the time to do it? Will I be able to do the more demanding aspects of the job such as climbing ladders, moving furniture, etc.? Will I be able to live with a room or area left unfinished when I am called away, return to my regular job, etc.? When considering which contractor to utilize, be sure to do or determine each of the following: Talk with several contractors and get quotes from each. Ask about insurance and bonding. Determine what will be done for each type of area (any wood trim, stucco, aluminum siding, walls of each room, etc.) for: Surface preparation Priming; what primer (type and brand) will be used? Finish coat: Type of paint and brand, where the brand fits into the manufacturer's line (premium, first, second, economy, contractor's grade, etc.), and how many coats? For exterior work, what will be done to protect plantings? For interior work, what will be done in regards to moving and/or protecting furniture? Painting contractor painting trim on a ladderWhen will the work be started? Finished? What is the warranty on the work? What is the length of time, the type of failures covered, and the remedy if there is a paint failure? Get names of previous customers from each contractor as references, and contact them to get their recommendation. Note whether the contractor was courteous and business-like, punctual with appointments or in returning phone calls, quality-oriented, experienced, and generally interested in doing business with you. Once you have all of this information on each contractor and their asking price, you can use it to make an informed decision on which one to choose for your job. For most people, their house is their biggest investment. Proper maintenance is required to maintain the quality and value of your home - landscaping, roofing, painting -- it all comes with home ownership. Painting your house is one of those tasks most people hate to think about, just like replacing a roof. How often should you paint your house? It depends on where you live, the climate and conditions and the quality of paint used. Houses in harsh environments such as the Arizona desert usually require repainting every 4-5 years.
