Photo studio shoots,
Stacey is an amazing photographer. This was my first photo shoot for my new Christian apparel line and Stacey made me feel comfortable leading up to the shoot. I told her I needed homepage pictures for my website, product pictures and social media pix and she took it from there. She recommended a makeup artist for my models that was awesome to work with. Stacey took great shots and we all had a blast during the session. I definitely look forward to working with her again.Dec 18, 2016VerifiedStacey Fergelec Photography's reply
Thank you Monica!
Very Professional, easy to work with. Stacey's experience was invaluable in getting the band to relax and feel comfortable. End product was everything we hoped for. I would strongly recommend her as a photographer for any event.Oct 17, 2016VerifiedStacey Fergelec Photography's reply
It was a pleasure working with you guys!
Stacey was very professional, she worked with us when I got the time of the appointment wrong. Not only that, but she was able to get us the gallery the next day, which was the day before Thanksgiving, I was not expecting such a fast turnaround. I cannot say enough things about Stacy, it was a very seamless, professional experience.Nov 22, 2018Verified
Great experience! Stacey was able to fit be in straight away (the next business day) as I needed a quality headshot for my new employer quickly. I had my headshots sent to me via email by the end of that business day & they were great! Thank you!Oct 2, 2018Verified
We had another photographer cancel last minute. Stacey was phenomenal! She was amazing with my girls and now the picture at so beautiful we can't decipher which ones are the best. I would highly recommend Stacey for any occasion.Aug 27, 2017Verified
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I constantly work at perfecting my craft, learning new techniques, and update my equipment to stay at the top of my field. I consistently take classes and workshops covering different aspects of photography. I learn from other photographers, from the amazing world wide web, as well as from my clients! I listen to my client's feedback and adjust accordingly.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?Definitely check out the photographer's portfolio! There are many ways to photograph the same thing. Make sure the photographer's style fits your needs. Get it in writing! You should always have a signed contract with your photographer before your session takes place so that everything that has been promised for your session is agreed upon and there are no surprises later. Cheaper is not always better! Everyone has a budget they are working with, believe me, I get it! But it's worth investing in an experienced professional that has put in the time and effort to hone their skill set.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project? It's the age old question that every professional photographer gets at one time or another... "Why do professional photographers cost so much??". There are countless articles, blogs, and debates about this subject and the answer is multifaceted and quite difficult to answer in just a few short sentences really, but I will try. As with any other job, we get paid for our timebut not just the time behind the camera. Truth be told, thats only a third or so of what we put into a shoot. For every hour I spend photographing, I put in another 4+ hours on editing and perfecting the images and preparing the end product for my clients. I want my clients to walk away feeling they got above and beyond what they paid for! Again, this topic could go on for pages! Just know that if you hire the right photographer, one who sees their profession as much more than just focusing a lens and clicking a button, you will not regret your investment!
