As an Accredited Financial Counselor I have to keep current on my continuing education. I have to take 30 hours of learning every 2 years to keep my credential.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My career has progressed from teacher to High School Counseling to focusing on educational and career Counseling to working with Military Service Members with Career and Financial counseling. I have and do all independently as well. I always knew I wanted to be a counselor, the type of counseling work I do progressed over the years as I learned that I loved assisting with goal setting and meeting the most.
