The main reason for hiring Tru Design was because of their responsiveness and prompt replies to any questions that I had. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer competitive pricing. Fees vary significantly based on the project.
For Commercial they are typically $5.0+ per square foot for basic buildout of a space (tenant improvement) and 6-9% of construction costs for new commercial construction (includes all engineering).
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We meet with you to understand the project and we write a scope and give you a proposal. We want to make the process as easy for customers as submitting plans to cities can be daunting. We navigate all this for you and hire and manage all the engineers under our contract so you have one person to deal with all the way from design through construction.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We stay up on the latest product information, trends in the industry. We are LEED certified to bring you environmentally friendly projects and do 20+ hours of training a year on industry related information and codes.
