FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There are a few different factors that may affect price. I definitely customize each experience for every event.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
An initial meeting is set up where a customer can get to know me and my process. It's a chance for the customer to ask any questions and I can get general information for their event. After the meeting, I put a quote together for the customer. Between the time of the initial meeting and the event they have the opportunity to log onto their personalized page on an event site to enter information and customize the event. A week or two before the event we will get together and go over more detailed timelines and music choices. I try to make it as stress-free as possible but make it detailed enough so that during the event the customer and guests can enjoy themselves without a glitch.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Anyone can buy a DJ system and play a playlist and state they are a DJ. I started with setting up and tearing down a well known DJ in the east valley. I learned the process for many types of events before starting to DJ myself. I hosted Karaoke for a period to work on my MC skills. It was a process, but it gave me a foundation to knowing the timelines and flow for many types of events.
