As a property manager I am always looking for ways to improve my rental properties with minimal down time and getting quality work as well. I detest having to call companies back to fix the obvious things that they did wrong or didn’t take the time to correct…overlooked (less then perfect) [yes I am a SOB but it’s my time, my money, and I usually give contractors one chance, do it and do it right or forget about it, never again.
I heard about AKP through a friend of mine and he only had good things to say about how fast and how clean a job they did for him, so I figured why not give them a shot as I had an apartment that needed renovations on about 20 units.
The apartment that I showed them was dated, needed a new bathroom and the kitchen needed countertops with fresh paint to finish it off the whole apartment. The rep (I think her name was Ashli) told me they could resurface the sinks, tubs and countertops. I remember at the time I was very skeptic about trying this but after being reassured it would look great and hold up I agreed and hands down. Of course a "resurface" or a reglazing saved me a ton on the renovation from gutting the place for newer.
It was BEST decision I ever made (as of today) AKP Services is the only company that I work with moving forward. Thank you AKP for being very competitive and professional. Bottom line I could not recommended them more highly. And, you won't have to call them back for rework. What a JOY!
Thanks Curt. Always great to work with professionals. See you in the next renovation

I needed to get my tub resurfaced fairly quickly before putting my house on the market. AKP was prompt, willing to come out on a Saturday to provide a quote and schedule that Monday. Very happy with their service and work.

I recently hired APK Service for a second time this year for paint work. If I could give them more than five stars I would. The guys were professional, friendly and neat in their work. Customer service is at the highest level and core to their business. They have made my home beautiful both inside and out! Highly recommend.
Thank you Mr. F. Always a pleasure to be trusted with another Pro vendors work. Looking forward to getting to return the favor soon.

I called AKP for a panic repair after my son starting practicing side kicks from his Karate lessons on his bedroom walls. All the drywall holes are now patched (and painted) and they came the same day I called. Plus, Joey showed my daughter how to do a kick-flip on her skateboard, so that’s cool. I will recommend this company to everyone I know that needs work. They do everything, including skateboard lessons.
I heard about this repair. I won't say we laughed, but we did all have a memory of something similar is our lives. VERY glad that we would make things right. Good luck when your son starts with Nunchakus. Probably going to need a glass company on stand by. Skateboards are cool, right?

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We have been in business for 20 years and do not try and compete with the "guy and a truck." We are licensed, bonded and insured in the State of Arizona and have opportunities to work with other contractors licensed in the nestled states to Arizona.
We offer competitive pricing for A+ work and discounts for Active and Retired military, first responders and retirees.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For smaller jobs like drywall repair of a fist hole, or door knob strike, or tub and shower resurfacing, we can quote from a picture uploaded by cell phone. For larger jobs like exterior painting, block wall repair, or larger renovations, we like to have a senior manager walk the property with you.
There is no charge for on site estimates.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Trained in resurfacing by manufacture of specialized equipment and chemicals.
