Chris and EJ were very professional, kind, polite, knowledgeable and most of all, they are fantastic painters. They explained the whole painting process and what they were going to do. They did not take any shortcuts. They went the extra mile. We highly recommend using Lion Head Painting! Thanks Chris and EJ

I was transferred by Chris the owner to his "handiman guru". To have 3 plastic flourescent ceiling panels that I supply trimmed to fit in 3 panel old school flourescent ceiling frame he quoted me $320!!!! I about choked from the shock. I know things have gone up but this is complete highway robbery for a job that would take less than an hour and I supply everything. I'm not happy and at first thought he was joking.

Details: Less than 2 hours (Simple tasks) • Kitchen • Lighting • Home

Lion Head Painting's reply
The quote was $120 as the minimum 1 hour rate. As mentioned in the text message, he has sinus issues and is a bit muffled. Our apologies for the misunderstanding.

Do what they say- be honest. Guy shows up in a car tells me his work truck is in the shop which is fine. The problem is he wanted me to purchase the materials and give him 50%. I use to be a general contractor. The reason you get the 50% is to get the customer to commit and have money to purchase the materials. To solve the issue, I agree to purchase the materials and give him 25% when he shows up to do the job. It was a two-day job. And give him the other 25% at the end of the first day. He didn't like that and wanted me to buy the materials and give me 50% up front. Sounded more like a hustle to me.

Lion Head Painting's reply
Yes, we arrived in a car because our work vehicle was wrecked by a red light runner and was pending repairs. We provided an on-site quote of $4000 with materials included. You wanted the job completed for $1500 but agreed to $1750 with you providing the materials. We always charge a 50% deposit regardless of who is providing materials. This secures your place on our calendar and ensures us you won't cancel. We were booked for 3 weeks out and said we would get back to you when we had availability. We apologize for not contacting you earlier as we were still tied up with other projects..
