Introduction: Hello - My name is Veronica, but everyone calls me Roni. I am a lifelong student & teacher myself - I have been teaching to friends, family, and professionally for 8 years. I have taught swim lessons children of all ages <mommy & me, infants, school aged children, young adults>. I've also worked with children for about 12 years as a nanny, tutor, volunteer coach, and summer camp counselor. In my spare time, I am a volunteer for Arizonians for Children, where I mentor and tutor children. I went to Ole Miss and earned my bachelors in Biology in 2018, while also taking college credits in Spanish. I love teaching lessons because it is a fun way to help children build their confidence while learning an imperative activity. I played volleyball in college, and also volunteered at my church as their head volleyball coach for four years. We have had many swim instructors and gone to a few different swim schools with our 3 year old, but Veronica is by far the best we have ever had. We were visiting Phoenix and booked Ms. Vee for a week of swim lessons and she was able to make things click for our little guy in such a short amount of time. She is very patient, very professional, punctual, and an excellent communicator. She has a great method of incorporating fun and safety in her teaching. I wish we lived here so we can use her all summer

I was looking for a life guard and on a whim reached out to Veronica since she's a swim instructor. She was able to find someone else (we needed two life guards) who was wonderfully qualified to make sure that everyone was safe around the water. She was patient and followed instructions well. I felt at peace having them there. Would definitely recommend! Thank you so much!

Awesome instructor! In the 1st 2 lessons she has done a remarkable job with our 6 and 10 year old boys! My boys really look forward their upcoming lesson. She’s very patient and kind with children. She helps them to quickly develop confidence in the water which has led to great progress.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Prices are based upon traveling to your private home pool or my pool, the amount of students, and the size of the package you purchase. Each purchased package comes with a bonus lesson for free!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with a new customer, first I like to get information about their children's experience with swimming, ages, and gender. I then will work with their schedule and provide dates/times that I am available for lessons.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have received my EMT-B with certifications for Basic Life Support, First Aid, and CPR. Additionally, I have been a lifeguard and swim instructor (8 years).
