Michael is hands down the greatest pool repair guy I have come across. I run my own AC business and use thumbtack religiously, to find a person like Michael that works with the same ethics I work with is priceless. Michael replaced My pool pump and did some misc. re-piping of the PVC he was affordable and on time those make the experience worth it every time.Sep 17, 2017Verified
On time, professional, and exceeded what was expected. Checked several items that could have caused the problem, isolated it and repaired the defective item. Would definitely hire again.... Wayne L.Apr 14, 2016VerifiedMichael K.'s reply
Thank you, Wayne.
When I bought my house I was told the jacuzzi was "as is" and the previous owners nthought it needed a new motor. A few months ago I had someone come and look at it and they also thought that it needed a new motor and was going to run me about $500. I hired Mike to come out to do the work. It was not a new motor at all! The filters were just super dirty that it was not heating up at all. After a good cleaning, we were able to use the Jacuzzi and enjoy ourselves!! Thanks again Mike!Feb 16, 2016VerifiedMichael K.'s reply

- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I train with the manufacturers (Hayward, Pentait, Zodiak) on an ongoing basis, I am a member of IPSSA (International Pool and Spa Service Association), and I network with specialists in the field. In addition to this I have an MBA with years of management experience in the corporate world.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I decided to leave corporate America and love my pool. As I have been helping friend and family keep their pools blue for years I figured, lets go! The final step for me was when I had an issue with my salt water cell and went through my home warranty company. It took two weeks and two vendors to get it resolved. I knew I could provide better service than those two.
- What types of customers have you worked with?Mostly we work with monthly cleaning and vacuuming. There is also periodic filter cleaning (2-4 times per year based on usage and conditions). Today's machinery is designed to last so the pump replacements are not as common but we are ready when they do.
