I have known Brian for 10 years in both personal and professional situations. I would be hard pressed to come up with enough positive adjectives to describe his work ethic, his calm and introspective approach to life, his natural ability to see designs and carry them through, his leadership ability, his integrity and his character and honesty. I would, without reservation, say that you could not find a more qualified person.
Brian provided design work and consulting, for example, on our Red Rock Creek project, a $30,000,000 project in Sedona, Arizona. His work was professional and timely and was instrumental in getting the project approved by the City of Sedona. He also coordinated with the City as well as various engineers and provided indispensible ideas on construction methods and cost savings. Due to the drop in the real estate market, the project was not completed, but Brian's part was impeccable

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We generally work on a fixed fee for total project. We can also work in a fixed or hourly fee for just the initial design phase. This gives us a chance to determine together, the feasibility and direction for the project.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
In the initial meeting I would listen to your ideas and share some of mine. As well as advise on the process and any code requirements going forward. This also gives us a chance to see if we are on the same page, and can communicate well with each other. We work on a 3-D cad format, which allows us to generate “views” of the project, for a better understanding of what we are creating together. We would create image files or PDFs to send via e-mail for review and feedback.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My initial education was by a full scholarship at Phoenix Institute of Technology for architectural technician. I started internships with architects directly out of high school. I also have a good bit of experience in some of the trades, especially carpentry. This has given me a good perspective of the overall process of building.
