The company that installed the unit tried to tell me it was due to the age of my circuit breaker and that a complete refresh (over 2k) was recommended. I contacted In Electric, who came by quickly, reviewed everything and found the problem was a bad capacitor. $200 later and it’s all fixed and have not had any issues since."See more

Ray N. says, "I contacted Ian at Erekson Electric, LLC to provide power to a new mini-split air conditioner I was installing. He came to my house and spent about 1 hour examining the ins and outs of the project and took the time to educate me regarding what was needed to "do it right". I didn't need to tell him I wanted it done "right", he just won't cut corners and do a job that is not up to his very high standards. After he provided me with the quote (based on 6 hours of his and his assistant's time) I approved his proposal, and he was then able to do the job a day early. Unfortunately, the plan to get the wiring from one side of my house where the breaker box is located to the other side where the mini=split was to be located was not going to work. He was finally able to find a revised plan (after maybe two hours of testing and thinking) and he was then able to get the wiring in place. Following that he then assisted with the installation of the mini split (OK, it was actually me assisting him and his assistant...for a little while) but the DIY project was anything but. Long story short, he and his assistant spent 12 hours working the contracted for wiring portion and then the installation of the mini split and never once mentioned revising the bid or indicating in any way that they were done or would need additional compensation. His work ethic is very strong, and his honesty was quite refreshing. Getting to know him from the 12 hours he was here gives me hope for the future.
