First, if I could check all the items above, I would. One of my garage door springs decided to break this past Sunday. I called A1 who I've used in the past and they told me that they could send a technician on Sunday without any extra trip fees. I asked if they could provide a budgetary quote but they pushed back and mentioned that the technician would assess the issue and then provide the quote. I had no commitment to use them if I didn't like the quote. In the meantime, just to make sure I wasn't getting overcharged, I contacted Thumbtack and requested a quote from other providers that received 5 star reviews. I received two companies that would come and not charge a trip charge. A1 shows up and the technician was very professional and knowledgeable. He assessed my issue and provided a quote for 3 types of springs. The 2-year warranty springs cost over $600, the 5-year springs were over $1,000 and the lifetime warranty springs were a lot higher. I think my brain stopped listening after I heard the price for the 2-year springs. Needless to say, I thanked the A1 technician and decided on using Speedy Check because Kevin (owner) explained that he uses only USA made springs that are guaranteed for a full 7 years. Kevin showed up with his son Ethan. Kevin checked everything out and provided a quote of $500 for his 7-year warranty springs. He did an excellent job and even provided some extra maintenance services at no charge since he was using this service call to be a "training" session for Ethan. My review can not really express how satisfied I was with the service call, repair, quality, and overall knowledge and professionalism of Speedy Check. I will only use them for any future garage door repairs. If you need garage door service, please give them a call. Lastly, please continue to support family owned businesses.

I had a great experience getting my garage door motor repaired! They offered a fair price, provided inclusive service, and completed the installation quickly and efficiently. Quality work from these guys. They were prompt, walked me through the current problems, answered all my questions, then fixed them. Garage is back to working. I was very pleased with the installation of my new garage door. Their bid came in much cheaper than other quotes and did excellent work.
They went above and beyond, for instance, we were working on another house project and needed a tool we did not have, they were there for the quote, stopped and ran to their truck and came back with the tool we needed and helped finish the quick project.
