- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Right now, since I'm relatively new to Thumbtack, I'm only charging $75.00/hr with the intent of growing my client base. All my customers that receive this pricing now will be grandfathered in, and will never be subject to any rate increase. Eventually, my rate will be back to normal ($120.00/hr) I do work on a "Fixed Rate" basis as well. Depending on the job, I can give you a quote of what the total cost of the project will be.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Technology is hard. Even more so when something goes wrong. You can't be expected to know exactly why something isn't working, and it's hard to explain what's going on to someone who is technically savvy. I love when customers send me pictures. It allows me to see first hand what's going on, instead of the issue potentially being miscommunicated by a customer.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went to EAU for General Business and Retail Management. Additionally, I have my Google Support IT certification.
