I really enjoy spending each day working with my hands, meeting new people, training workers, and repairing damaged instruments. Piano tuning is a blessing because there's nothing bad about what we do. Each piano has its own story to tell and when we delve into the work, we're connected to the history that exists in each instrument. Every day is brand new, because each home we go to is totally different than the one before.

Excellent value! I had no idea what was wrong with my piano. I couldn’t play without a lot of sustaining echoes! A professional tuner had no problem fixing it. He set to work quickly and diagnoses the problem. After removing the music stand and keyboard guard, it took about 10 minutes. My piano sounds amazing again! Thank you!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We charge a flat rate for piano tuning, $150.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working for a new customer, we do an inspection on the piano to check for damage. If there is damage, then we'll make a recommendation for repair service. If the piano is ok, then we'll get started tuning the piano. The piano tuning takes about an hour and a half to complete.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was trained as an apprentice with my friend John Vold.
