He did a tune up on my computer, but it is still running slowly, albeit faster than it was.Nov 7, 2018Verified
The technician was punctual, friendly, knowledgeable and provided recommendations rather than a sales pitch. I will be using this company again when I purchase my new computer.Mar 27, 2017Verified
If the customer can Google the part number using the make and model, then so can PCHelpForce. Also, be honest. Don't say the part is soldered to the motherboard if it isn't. You lose credibility when you say it's a larger, more intricate and labor intensive repair than it is. And don't send a tech to pick up the PC after telling the customer by phone that he was coming to actually do the repair. This is why you lost the job to an honest repairman.Jul 17, 2017PCHelpForce's reply
It is unfortunate that there was some confusion in the quote that we provided to this customer. We have a set fee for all DC Jack repairs for laptops whether the part is soldered to the motherboard or not. Mainly because the labor involved is the disassembly of the laptop and re-assembly. We never do this work in a customers home/office due to the ESD sensitivity of the internal laptop components. We do this in our shop that has grounded ESD protective work benches and mats. I'm not sure where the communication breakdown was with this customer but we take full responsibility for not fully explaining this in detail upfront.
Bill was a classy guy, knew exactly what he was doing and was honest about all the repairs.Sep 29, 2016Verified
Professional service. Logged into my computer and fixed it, but I had confidence that had it needed something more he would have been able to diagnose it. Thank you!Dec 6, 2016Verified
