- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing system is not complicated and I work with each client to ensure they are pleased with the cost for the finished product.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In this line of work, all my years of experience and being able to research any grammar or other question that comes up, have made it possible for me to edit very effectively. Also being cognitive of current writing styles and punctuation helps perfect my services.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I proofread, edited and finalized documents, correspondence, pleadings, etc. throughout the years working as a Legal Assistant, and that was the task I enjoyed most during my career. Even while reading for pleasure, mistakes always glare at me and I have the urge to "correct" them. When I decided that is what I wanted to do to supplement my income, I created my home-based business and have loved being able to edit creative writing, as well as technical documents, anything that needs proofreading, AND not having to go into an office every day to share my talents.
