I chronicle what I see—how my heart sees it—with the light and beauty of the moment dictating me. Whomever or whatever I’m drawn to, from people to everyday life, I approach each similarly, blending the candid with the orchestrated, blending the natural with the supernatural. My camera is my tool in telling stories. Let me help you tell yours. I am most interested in photographing the life events that have made you, you. This includes photographing you on your wedding day, wearing your grandmother's veil; the birth story of your first child, who was named after your great grandfather; the first birthday of your second daughter and her excitement when eating cake for the first time; and your parents' 20th wedding anniversary. These events, which really are just a culmination of many moments, make up a great portion of our lives. These moments are valuable and worth documenting and these are the moments I live for. I live for the moments when love illuminates your eyes and heart and you're reminded of who you are and why you're here. These are the moments worth reliving time and time again. Britney was wonderful at recording our event through photos. She had a creative eye for photo shots and was able to capture things throughout the evening that I hadn't thought of. She faded in and out of crowds with ease and handled technical details like lens changes with grace. She never missed a beat during the few hours that she was on site. A true professional! I can't wait to see the final product in two weeks.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Writing, Photography, and Publication Design from Missouri State University. In addition to my education, I have experience photographing weddings, parties, and other life events since 2012. I am a documentary, lifestyle photographer who enjoys capturing life as it happens.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I enjoy working with clients who are open to new ideas but also have a strong sense of self and photography as an art form.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Of my most recent photography projects, I most enjoyed photographing my niece, just days after she was brought home from the hospital. I documented the small, quiet, in-home moments between mom and baby, the love of a dad for his daughter as he held her, and their smiles despite hours of sleep missed.
