Douglas S. says, "Simply put, Eric is the best and is for many reasons. Eric possesses the rare combination of not only being extremely handy (it seems from my time working with him there isn't really anything home improvement that he hasn't tackled or had experience with), but additionally, he is incredibly creative and has a fantastic design aesthetic. I hired him to replace my entry door and patio door on my home and in passing had mentioned wanting to update some other areas of my house (living room and kitchen) but was not going to stay in that residence long enough for a full scale remodel. The next day he had three ideas for me that completely transformed my space. Not only that, he already had a plan in place to make it happen. (His ideas were a complete overhaul of my entire living room wall with fireplace, the addition of custom butcher block in my kitchen, and a perfectly customized new high end backsplash concept--with the best tile that he knew about, with a zero maintenance grout, and he included metal framing because he knows best practices in redesign). So creatively he is the best around. He executed incredibly as well. I had expectations of course but he blew them out of the water. His work is neat, professional, accurate, and it is very apparent that he just knows what he's doing. And all of this was before going out on his own as at the time, he was working full time at his regular job. I have to mention this too: he is a fantastic communicator and this is huge. Ideas, plans, timelines, updates--he communicates consistently and clearly and maybe nothing is as important as this on a project--especially one's own home. Not surprisingly he is very easy to work with and keeps a very tidy workspace. He has all the small details covered, details which, as I have learned, when not covered become a big deal really fast. In everything Eric did on my home the end result exceeded my expectations and then some. The photos will speak for themselves. I couldn't recommend Eric highly enough. What's great too is that he may or may not know this but he could charge a helluva lot more than he does for the quality of work that he turns in which for me had me scrambling to schedule him for more projects once his first transformation was finished. He is the best and I am so glad that he is now working for himself because he offers an amazing array of services to homeowners. Call him."See more

How long does it take to assemble an elliptical?

Elliptical assembly times vary based on a number of factors. The main factor is the type of elliptical you ordered, as some can be assembled quickly and others, particularly those with more complex capabilities, take longer.

Be sure to ask whoever you hire to assemble your elliptical how much time they expect it to take.

What are the advantages of hiring a fitness equipment assembler?

Putting together ellipticals, cardio bikes, treadmills and other equipment is not easy. Here’s why you should consider hiring a professional assembly service to take this task off your plate:

  • Reduce the risk of injury. Items like treadmills, rowing machines and stationary bikes are heavy and difficult to move. Hiring a pro removes the burden from you — and your back.
  • Save time. A professional knows how to assemble fitness equipment in several hours. If you were to do it yourself, it might take you all day.
  • Quality. You don’t want your treadmill coming apart during that final sprint. Hiring a pro helps ensure the assembly is done correctly and your machinery is safe to use.

Is treadmill assembly difficult?

Treadmill assembly is not terribly straightforward. Treadmills are heavy, cumbersome and complex, and putting them together can take trained professionals several hours to complete. Assembly also tends to require an extra set of hands to hold pieces in place while attaching others.

If you put together your treadmill incorrectly, the machine might come apart. For this reason, treadmill assembly is not typically recommended as a DIY venture — so hire a pro instead.

How long does it take to assemble a treadmill?

Assembling a treadmill cab takes professionals between one and two hours, depending on the complexity of the setup, according to Consumer Reports. The process requires holding several large, heavy parts in place, which is why the job typically necessitates an extra set of hands. For this reason, it’s worth spending money to pay someone to assemble your treadmill. Doing so alone can be frustrating, difficult and even dangerous if you do not do it correctly.

What are some basic pieces of gym equipment?

These are the basic pieces of gym equipment you need for a small fitness studio or in-home gym:

  • A training bench for weightlifting
  • A dumbbell set with multiple weights
  • A barbell set for weightlifting
  • A kettlebell set to activate different muscle groups
  • A pull-up bar (and frame)
  • A treadmill, rowing machine and stationary bike for cardio
  • A fitness ball for a variety of different exercises
  • Accessories like a rollout wheel and stretch bands for aerobics

How hard is it to put together a treadmill?

Putting together a treadmill can be difficult for those without a lot of DIY experience or the proper tools. The job is easier done with two people and can take a day to complete, which is why hiring a pro who can get it done quickly is often a better use of time. A treadmill assembly professional will know how to assemble it properly and perform trickier steps like lubricating the belt, ensuring the correct tension and not over-tightening screws.
