I've been playing for 30 years and Reggie is the only teacher I've had that has made a real difference in my playing. He's the best guitar teacher in the valley. Just hire him. You won't regret it.Aug 28, 2019Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Currently lessons are $25 a half hour, $30 for a 45 minute lesson, and $50 for a one hour lesson. A $5 travel fee is charged for every travel/visit lesson made.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Talking with a student, and finding out what their goals and expectations are. Whether it's to learn a few chords to play songs around the camp fire, or to prep for and audition for the school jazz band. Once the goals are discussed, i can suggest a lesson plan for the student.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Along with "on the job training", and opportunity to learn from the many "seasoned" pros I've had the pleasure to work with, I've had the opportunity to study at the academic level, and privately, with some of best musicians/educators. Joyce Shannon, at Chaffey College (theory, and ear training, sight singing). Eddie Arkin (scales, modes, chord study and jazz guitar in general) Dave Patt (sight reading), and Jody Fisher (everything guitar, and mentor) Along with my private study, I attended The Dick Grove School on Music. My education there included classes in improvisation, theory/harmony, rhythmic sight reading, and special seminars with Tommy Tedesco, Eddie Arkin, Dave Patt, and Jimmy Wybel. For 19 years, I was on the staff of NGW (National Guitar Workshop), a summer guitar program. At NGW, I taught classes, in Beginning Rock Guitar, and conducted a blues seminar called Blues Chops. These workshops, and seminars were taught at universities, and colleges across the US including Redlands Ca, Claremont Ca. San Francisco, Austin Tx, Chicago, Nashville Tn, and Connecticut. I bring this, and much more to all my lessons.
