FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I prefer working with flat fees include initial consultation, face to face meetings, field measurements, architectural drawing time and work outside of clients home. Access to a multitude of designer only furniture, accessory and art websites with designer discounts handed down to clients excluding all shipping costs and tax. Flat rate fee structures can also be generated for a more accurate proposal according to scope of work. See through pricing provided throughout the design process. Inquire about a free in-home consultation to see if we are a good match.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A great way to get to know someone is to step inside their home; to see the items that they surround them selves with, evaluate the way that they live and use the space and to see what is important to them. For every client and all projects large to small, I input all areas in the propsed scope of work into AutoCad (an architectural drawing computer program) which includes a detailed floor plan and elevations of all walls. Insuring clear, visual communication to the clients and scaled/detailed architectural drawings that are then handed off to a contractor and/or city for permitting if needed.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Graduate degree from Florida State University, a fully accredited program, 5 year course in Interior Design. 10 years of experience working for high-end interior design firms in the valley.
