FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
.I really wish that it was that simple. What makes or breaks any paint job is the preparation that that takes place before the painting starts. Before I provide an estimate I always take care to thoroughly examine the job so that both the customer and I know exactly what to expect.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to take the time to know the customer and the job before we get started. The only accurate estimate is one that is rendered after a thorough inspection of the job in order to eliminate guess work and surprises. Once we have established a price and colors we like to begin work ASAP. We will all have a good understanding of what the job entails and the duration of the project at the outset.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
There are many questions to answer in order to pass the two part CR-34 (commercial and residential painting and wall covering) licensing exam, but the experience gathered over years on the jobs is what really makes things go smoothly. That experience is the training that matters most.
