Jumped on Thumbtack at the very last minute, looking for immediate help, with trash/junk left from a move out! My vehicle was not big enough to take the trash to a dumping place. But. I recently moved and I had a TONNN of Boxes for moving and new furniture and all the things Ive been ordering for my new place. I mean seriously, I had an entire hallway filled with boxes and all the way up to the ceiling!!! Guy came by and he was with Victor, the two of them cleared out all of my junk soo fast I couldnt believe it!! They were quick, efficient, friendly and just awesome!! I cannot describe how happy and relieved I felt when they were done seeing my hallway cleared up and all the boxes gone! Sooo helpful and reliable! I will definitely be calling Guy to come back again once I have more boxes to get rid of soon from all the packages that Im expecting in the next couple weeks!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is based mainly on how much of our trailer your items fill. A full trailer holds about 14.4 cubic yards.
Small jobs: $99 minimum per pickup visit. A small full-service pickup from inside your home starts at $149.
Load sizes, with the matching Thumbtack haul size:
1/8 trailer, about 1.8 cu yd (half a pickup load): $229
1/4 trailer, 3.6 cu yd (one pickup load): $259
3/8 trailer, 5.4 cu yd (two pickup loads): $349
1/2 trailer, 7.2 cu yd (three pickup loads): $429
5/8 trailer, 9 cu yd: $509
3/4 trailer, 10.8 cu yd (four pickup loads): $579
7/8 trailer, 12.6 cu yd (five pickup loads): $639

Extra labor beyond what's included is $121 per two-person crew hour, approved before we start. Same-day service adds $15. Heavy or dense material, long carries, stairs and special disposal are quoted separately.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, send photos and a short description of what needs to be removed, where the items are located, and any stairs or access concerns. I review the job, ask any necessary questions, and provide a provisional estimate.
Once the scope, equipment, and availability are confirmed, we schedule the service. Requested dates are preferences until I confirm them. When I arrive, I verify the actual volume and conditions and confirm the final price before anything is loaded. After approval, I remove the agreed items, haul them away, and complete a basic cleanup of the cleared area.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I served six years on active duty in the U.S. Army, including responsibilities involving operations, planning, equipment accountability, preparation, and safety. That experience taught me to communicate clearly, arrive prepared, handle equipment responsibly, and follow through on commitments.
I apply those same standards to every removal job, along with careful attention to accepted materials, safe loading, property access, and responsible disposal.
