FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is pretty straight forward. I try to accommodate any budget however there is a reason for the saying "You get what you pay for." There will always be "Makeup Artists" out there that will tell you 35.00 for services but what does that really mean? Have they had education, do they use professional products, do they utilize sanitation techniques? When I set my price point I factor in the cost of not only the excellent products I use but the cost of travel to you for your convenience as well as the time and education I've put into my profession.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always suggest booking a trial. This allows the opportunity for us to see if my aesthetic and your vision are compatible. We can go over different looks and try different styles so you can see first hand how your makeup will look and last on your wedding day.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been certified as a Master Pro Makeup Artist at the Skin and Makeup Institute. I was trained by a highly regarded celebrity makeup artist. I have over 1000 hours of education in makeup application which includes airbrushing, ethnic skin makeup, tattoo cover, Bridal, Film, Runway, Special Effects, and Red Carpet events. Although my personal aesthetic is very natural I love being able to create custom glam looks for my clients to make them feel fabulous.
