FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
At Sherry's Pampered Pets we like to talk one on one with our new customers to best meet their needs. Dogs and cats are as individual as children. Each one has different likes and dislikes. Finding them out makes it easier for us to provide a positive first time visit. One of the many benefits of a small family run business is that you really get to know your customers for a more intimate experience.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Hello I am Michelle McMillian the owner of Sherry's Pampered Pets. I am an Arizona native that has always had a love of animals. I began bathing dogs at 16 years old for the previous owner and founder Sherry Porter. I then trained under Sherry in a grooming apprenticeship and have been grooming dogs for almost 20 years. A little over 4 years ago when Sherry retired I purchased the business. Since then I have been working hard to continue to pamper the pups!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
When it comes to our pets they are definitely members of the family! I highly suggest doing your research, calling around to compare services, ask people you know for referrals, or stop in to meet the employees and take a look around. If all else fails let your dog decide they are a pretty good judge of character.
