Growing up as far back as I can remember, I spent a lot of my time learning how to draw with just about anything I could pick up, from pencils to pens and paint brushes to airbrushes and all kinds of artist related and unrelated tools. I learned how to draw sketch paint and create from memory, still life, or photograph all kinds of subject matter and media.
My curiosity would also get the best of me and I always wanted to know how things where made or how they worked. As a kid I would watch how its made on tv, or sneak into the basement and get into my dads tools and would take apart just about everything from toys to lawn mowers. If we owned it and it was mechanical you bet I have taken it apart, studied how it worked and put it back together. My dad wasn't to thrilled with more than half of the things I use to do, but stopped yelling at me once I started saving him money when I figured out how to fix things haha.
Well over the years my dad would take me out to work with him on his handy man jobs. I learned all kinds of skilled trades and the proper and not so proper way to use tools lol. I learned from my mistakes and my dads mistakes and those around us working on things.
I was always gifted as a kid and very crafty and creative a DYI'er.
