FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing varies depending on the individual needs of each client. We offer discounts for bigger projects, and every client gets my guarantee: If your space returns to its original state within six months, I will provide a free follow-up consultation to reorganize your space.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After an initial consultation, we’ll work together to categorize every item by “essential” or “non-essential”. Being able to clearly identify every item is an important first step in this process. The second step is sometimes the most challenging: Parting ways with non-essential items isn’t easy, but it is important. Once that is done, we identify space for every item. This also includes looking at custom solutions for items that require additional—or different—space in your home. From here, my team and I create any needed custom solutions, re-organize items and curate spaces you’ll love.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Before I founded reliefkey, I spent five years as a user experience designer at a tech company. In my old role, I understood that UX design was all about process; organizing information to make it as intuitive and easy to use as possible. Doing this requires both an understanding of tech and empathy. And that has been an important throughline across my career, especially in home organizing. Feeling overwhelmed by our homes—the spaces we’re supposed to feel the most relaxed—is stressful. Asking for help is difficult, too, and my team and I have the utmost respect and empathy for our clients and their needs.
