Introduction: You'll see when we work together that I get very excited when the creative juices start flowing. A session with David Pool is usually fairly memorable. I'm friendly, personable, and strive for genuine creativity. I like everybody involved to have fun and think outside the box. We'll start looking at photos immediately after the shoot and work together to assure complete satisfaction. No hassle. Great results! My biggest reward is when I see the look on a customer's face that says "WOW!" I enjoy being able to capture the subject's personality or feeling in a moment.

We wouldn't have any other photographer at our annual events. David is the best and really captures and personality of the dogs in his photos. He dinates his time, talent and effort to help raise funds for our rescue and we truly appreciate him.

Just go to my website (www.davidpoolphotography.com) and pretend to buy any photograph. You'll see the menu of choices and prices. Small prints start at $4.99.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
It's a good thing photography is fun, because I'm constantly doing it. If I'm not busy with clients I'm either practicing or studying. I study head shot photography through PH2 Pro and serve as Chairman (pro tem) of the Southwest Consortium for the Advancement of Contemporary Photography. Still, I'd like to receive more formal training. I'm thinking of taking Peter Hurley's course in advanced head shot techniques. I'd love to teach photography. I'm particularly interested in lighting and color management.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
It was inevitable.
