Introduction
As an experienced musician, teacher and performer, I love to share music with others. I have performed extensively with my brother, Johnny, in a wide variety of settings all over the U.S. (from Carnegie Hall to Disneyland), and also in Europe. I have studied with wonderful professors in New York City, Vienna and Krakow. The things that I have learned from all of these experiences is what I bring to those who I work with in lessons. I enjoy helping students build a love of and interest in music, and I individualize my approach with each student. Music has been such a gift to me in my life, and I have been very fortunate to get to build a career in music in both performing and teaching. I love getting to pass along the things that I have learned, and helping students of all ages and abilities achieve the goals they have in their study of music. It is tremendously satisfying to individualize the lessons with different students, tailoring to their specific interests and styles of learning.

I take piano lessons from Chris and I highly recommend him. Chris is an extremely talented pianist and a great teacher. He is very flexible in finding material that the student will enjoy playing while still suiting the music to the students skill level and is able to isolate techniques. One thing I particularly enjoy about my lessons is that Chris does a great job of doing more than just helping me learning to play a song. He helps apply techniques of good piano playing to the pieces I am working on and explains how those techniques will affect the sound of the piece so it can be more emotional and entertaining. Now that I have been doing lessons with Chris for a while, we have started to adjust the structure of the lesson to add activities in our lessons that are geared toward my interests like music theory work or help strengthen some of my weaknesses like sight reading. Above all, Chris is an extremely kind person who genuinely cares about his students, their progress, and that they are enjoying both their lessons and learning the instrument as a whole.
