Introduction: I am a professional long-term sub-teacher and year round tutor. Seeking to help Elementary students in reaching their academic goals. Reading/Comprehension: Kindergarten; I tutor in Alphabet, upper/lower case, Reading/Decoding, letter recognition, consonant, reading fluency. 1-5th grades I tutor in the following standards; recognition of charactors, sequence, relation to true to life experiences, prediction, problem/solution. Writing: writing process, draft, pre-writing, editing, final. The goal is to deliver a clean, well organized piece of work. Math: K-5th grades; whole numbers, add/subtract, multiplication, fractions, percents, decimals, compare, tables, pictographs, bar graphs and line graphs. At this point in time all of my students have mastered their grade level standards with a minumum 90% success rate. Test preparation for AZ. St. Standardized tests in Math, Reading, Writing.
