- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started off my university career obtaining a B.Sc. in physiology and biochemistry and became involved in brain research at three major universities in Canada. I then went to medical school in Toronto, graduating with a degree in integrative medicine and for 30 years practiced both western/conventional and naturopathic medicine. I embrace the holistic philosophy of healing which encompasses body, mind, emotions, spirit, soul and beyond. Wishing to be truly holistic in my approach, I accomplished further studies to expand my understanding in each category by doing further by studies into Jungian psychology and psychotherapy, western psychiatry, having been following a spiritual path for 40 years and took training to become an ordained minister. Being well versed in all these categories--mind, body, spirit-- allows me to a well informed coach for a wide variety of issues. And it allows me to effect healing in many different aspects of my clients as well. On a personal note, I have experienced and overcome a history of trauma and substance use disorder, adding to my life experience.
