Introduction: I have been a passionate and very energetic swim instructor for over 7 years. I am an independent swim instructor with a swim school offering private and group swim lessons and water safety classes for children, teens, adults, and the elderly who are beginner/intermediate swimmers. My students are usually swimmers who have had a bad experience with water/swim lessons or beginners who want to take their swimming to a more advanced level. I believe everyone has not only the ability to swim but also have fun and stay healthy while doing it!
My students say I have a sunny Arizona energy and knack for teaching each student uniquely to fit his or her learning method. Do you have a fear of water? Do not worry. I have years of experience of how to approach swimming when a student has a fear for water.
I am passionate in having my students have fun while learning a life skill. My rates are competitive (given private lessons can be very expensive), and I will specially accommodate within your time and budget. Traveling to you is included depending on your location.
Swimming is for everyone, and I am so excited to share my passion with you!
For some background on my training, I have been a lifeguard and WSI (water safety instructor) certified by the Red Cross. I also have a professional license by the American Heart Association in CPR and AED usage. I am going to medical school this fall, so I have a lot of medical experience and exposure. You and/or your child are in safe hands! I also am comfortable speaking in Mandarin and Cantonese for a lesson.

Ariel was such a great teacher and she has absolutely wonderful people skills! I had a fear of water, until she made me feel so much more confident and comfortable in my own abilities. I wasn't able to pick up treading water super quickly, but she was very patient with me. She thought of innovative ways to help me and throughout our lessons gave me continuous support! When she saw that one method of treading water wasnt working that well for me, she figured out another way and taught it to me. By moving my legs and arms in a different way, I was able to tread water a lot better. It was a method I hadn't been taught before. I am definitely going to take more lessons from her because in a single hour, I felt so much more ease in the water. I definitely recommend having her as a teacher! She overall has a bubbly personality and I can tell she would be great connecting with anyone.

I've been with Ariel Swim School for three years. Ariel, the owner of the school, is the best!!! She is a wonderful instructor and is very patient. Before working with Ariel, I was scared of water. However, Ariel made me feel so comfortable. She gives me the best workouts in the water and I have gotten in shape since my lessons started. I recommend her to all my friends and family. They have also had great experiences with her as well. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND HER!

Amazing!! Ariel is one of the best swim instructors I've seen by far! I hired her for swim lessons with my children and she is so good with teaching them (ages 5 and 12). Before lessons, my daughter would start crying to even get in the water, and now she swims like a fish! I would highly recommend Ariel for swimming lessons for all your children. She is very understanding and has a very competitive pricing. Her pricing beats every place and isn't very expensive for how skilled she is and how she goes above and beyond.

Ariel was great with our kids. She was very patient with our 4 year old since he was very scared of water at first. He learned to float and dive for rings with her. By the end of the lessons , he loved getting in the water.

Ariel is really good with children. My son is shy and is hard to accept new friendship. I don't know how Ariel did, she only spent one session with my son, and she became my son's best friend. Amazing!!!
