- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
If I give you a price on the phone for a repair without seeing it it's an estimate once I take a look at the issue I can give you an actual quote an estimate is a ballpark of what it should cost a quote is what it will cost I never quote until I've looked at the pool
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After we talk on the phone or text I get your address and set up a time for me to come look at it
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've taken several online classes in addition to my 20 plus years in the pool business I also take manufacturer sponsored classes for pentair and Hayward about every two years just to catch up on new products
