- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was producing a cable television show when a friend asked me to videotape a wedding. It was a very simple production, but they loved it. From then on I was hooked on filming weddings.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
All kinds. We've filmed everything from simple backyard weddings to 5-star resort weddings and most everything in between.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
We recently filmed a wedding at Juniper Well Ranch outside of Prescott, Arizona. It was a unique setting with horses, peacocks and even geese! The bride and groom are both lawyers and the officiant was a judge! The bride and her father entered in a horse-drawn carriage and the decorations had been made over the last year by family members. The mix-match china and silverware for over 200 guests were provided by the family who had been collecting china pieces for months. Lawn games, a photo booth and a DJ with lots of spunk (not to mention a very in-love couple) made for a very memorable occasion! We shot lots of footage at rehearsal and all day for the wedding, so there was a ton of great footage for this wedding. Production took almost 2 months.
