- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
General service calls are $85 per hour. I do not charge a 2 hr minimum. Cabling projects are based on an estimate of time and materials. I tell you up front what you will pay in the end.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Payment rendered at time of service for first appointment. After the first appointment payment terms change to 7 business days. No exceptions. You can't buy groceries and pay for them 60 or 90 days later. Other than that you can call me 24/7 365. Text or email if I don't answer. I will always respond within an hour or two. 99% of the time I respond immediately. I am here to provide you with the service you need when you need it. Not on my schedule. I work on yours.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am 100% self taught. I got an A+ cert about 10 years ago. It's expired now. Degrees and certifications are great. But in the IT world no one cares how smart the plaques on your wall say you are. You can either do it or you can't. More often than not I find that those who can are just like me. Self taught.
