I recently hired ViewPoint to install a new exterior door where there had previously only been a window, and I couldnt be happier with the results.Because the project involved cutting into a load-bearing wall, it required a structural header modification something I definitely didnt want to take any chances with. From the very first consultation, the team at ViewPoint was professional, knowledgeable, and thorough. They explained the process clearly, pulled the necessary permits, and made sure everything was done safely and up to code.The actual work was impressively smooth. They removed the old window, installed a strong LVL header to support the opening, and seamlessly fit the new door. The finish work was just as meticulous the trim, flashing, and weatherproofing all look fantastic, and everything feels solid and secure.The new door has completely changed the way we use the space it brings in so much more light and provides convenient access to our yard. What was once an underused wall is now a highlight of our home.I highly recommend ViewPoint Remodeling if youre looking for structural upgrades or door installations.
