Introduction: I am currently a culinary student and a line cook at one of Scottsdale's finest restaurants. I am looking to do private chef meals (small to medium size) over the summer. I am almost finished with school, so I am very well versed in many different kinds of cooking. I can create unique meals, or I can tweak your favorite recipes. I am very easygoing and laid-back and am willing to create menus or go off your scheduled meals. I can work around allergies, dietary restrictions, etc.

I wanted to have an amazing home-cooked meal for my girlfriend but I'm a terrible cook so I hired Chef Katie to come out. She asked some questions about what my girlfriend and I like and don't like and was so easy to work with. We started out with a cheese plate, then - probably my favorite item ever - these blue cheese & zucchini bites. After that, the main course was steak with bacon & peppers & blue cheese and a side of stuffed mushrooms. Finally, for dessert, Katie made this incredible exploding lava cake for desserts. OH! I almost forgot - she chose some great wines to pair with each course! I can't say what an amazing experience this was and I can't recommend Katie enough. I'm sorry I didn't do a good job of taking pictures- I was too in the moment.

I hired Katie for a buffet for my family before my college graduation. She took the time to understand my wants and the kinds of breakfast foods that I enjoy. I would definitely hire her for a future event.

We had Katie cater our wedding reception dinner buffet for about 150 people. She was amazing! Did all the shopping, everything was delivered in perfect time. She even stayed around to cut the meat closer to dinner so it would still be fresh!
We had Apple Cinnamon Glazed Pork Chops and Lemon Basil Chicken as our entrees.
We recommend her to anyone!

Katie prepared food for a dinner party for me. I told her what allergies there were and for her to pick something to prepare. She made bacon wrapped chicken stuffed with Gouda and homemade macaroni and cheese. I can't say enough how great it was. The chicken was cooked just perfectly and was tender and juicy. The macaroni and cheese was a wonderful combination of cheeses. I can't wait to have Katie prepare food for my next important dinner party!
