Most of the of the areas she actually did clean were well done. I'll be the first to admit the unit was dirty. Two young males in their 20s had been living in it so there was definitely some extra dirt and grime. However, that is the reason I requested quotes for a "deep clean" move out. To my surprise one bathroom was left untouched, the inside of the oven was untouched, the refrigerator was untouched, the lower kitchen cabinets were untouched, half of my kitchen counter and the kitchen sink were untouched, and some things she said she cleaned were only partially done. I ended up being charged an extra $20 for "extra" materials she had to use even though so much was left uncleaned. She spent a lot of time on areas that weren't as pertinent such as window sills and casings and baseboards most of which had already been cleaned and painted prior to her arriving. I think better communication regarding what needed to be prioritized would have helped this experience be more positive. I did leave her my cell and told her I could be contacted at any time throughout the day if she needed me at all; however, I did not hear anything from her all day and instead received an email explaining the various things she didn't clean and an invoice for $20 more. I would have been willing to pay a significant amount more up front if I would have received a phone call or text explaining her predicament. She seemed nice, but I would suggest being very clear about what you want cleaned and what you need prioritized. Ask lots of questions!

Gosh, I'm so sorry you're not happy with your cleaning! I prioritized my work based on your original request and subsequent emails specifically asking me to clean windows, sills, and baseboards - those were done first, and I even included the blinds for free to really make those windows sparkle! Also, I wasn't aware anything had been painted - are you sure?? There were very thick layers of dirt and dust coating every surface - walls, ceiling fans, windows, sills, cabinets, appliances, countertops, baseboards, doors, trim and carpet. You might want to check with maintenance on their work? The apartment definitely needs another 4-5 hours of intensive cleaning. I wish you the best in finding a company that's a better match!
