- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Interior Design has always been my passion as well as my livelihood! I just always knew that this is what I would be doing! I realized I had a talent relating to space, balance, harmony and scale, and that putting my creative talents to use would make me happy. I consider my profession, my labor of love! I enjoy creating beauty everywhere I go.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I am very proud of a recent job that came to me as a referral. I actually met this young man many years ago while working for his mother who had bought a new house. He was very young at the time. Many years later I worked with his mother again remodeling her home. To be working with my client's son, in his first new home makes me very proud!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would advise finding a designer with good communication skills, which include being a good listener. It is very important to feel understood in your objectives, budget, style, personality and lifestyle.
