- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $25 for a one hour lesson that includes 30 minutes of private instruction, 15 minutes of music appreciation at the computer, and 15 minutes of piano theory at the computer.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
With a beginner I decide what piano method to use based on his or her age, and how well he or she reads. As the student progresses, I am able to fine tune the teaching methods to work best with each individual student.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied piano pedagogue at the Royal Conservatory of Music, Toronto. I also studied piano performance at York University department of Fine arts. In addition, I have taught piano for over 30 years.
