Mike L. says, "Starfix Appliance Repair did an outstanding job repairing my dryer. Their technician, Mike, was personable, professional, and extremely thorough. He replaced the belt and pulleys, and went above and beyond by tightening and correcting a few additional components inside the drum that were on the verge of failing. I truly appreciated his attention to detail and the care he took to make sure everything was solid before closing it up. It is clear they take pride in their work. I would absolutely hire Starfix again, and I would gladly request Mike specifically. That said, if their other technicians are even half as good, you really cannot go wrong choosing this company. VL B. says, "I booked ProTech for a washer, repair a dryer repair and a refrigerator repair. A subcontractor was sent out looked at everything told me how much it was going to cost. Ordered the parts and several days later I was contacted to schedule the actual repair. At the time that the technician was originally here, I asked him if while the dryer was unassembled could he vacuum out any lint and dust he said yes, but when he was actually here for the repair, he refused to do it. Also, after he left, the refrigerator was making a funny noise and so was the clothes washer. I took a video and hold onto it About a week later, the washer stopped spinning again I contactedProTech through the Thumbtack app, and they arranged to send one of” good” technicians. And they wanted to take care of the vacuum/lint issue also at the time. He came out vacuumed out the length from the dryer, and on the washer, determine that the part that was replaced was defective. He ordered another part, and replaced it a few days later it is now working fine The refrigerator is still making a weird noise. But as it didn’t happen when the second technician was here, he wasn’t able to diagnose anything. I have since taken videos. Of when the sound occurs and where it seems to be occurring in the refrigerator. And I will discuss this with them later I am very pleased with how this company responded when there was an issue with the repair work that was done. It’s not their fault that a part was defective. And I realize that. I have already referred several people to them and will continue to do so."See more
