I got a quote for one stump grinding of $160 based on pictures uploaded to Thumbtack. I Booked through Thumbtack. Waited at property 2 hours to find out it was cancelled - by text not Thumbtack. Text asked if I wanted to get back on the schedule. I said yes and added 2 more stumps to the project, I was quoted a new price and asked if I wanted to schedule, I texted yes. I got no reply so scheduled on thumbtack and got confirmation from Thumbtack. I spent another 2 hours at the property that day and no one showed. I called the phone number which is never answered and left multiple voicemails and texts. The next day I got a text saying Thumbtack appointments are not valid unless confirmed by text and did I want to reschedule. I said yes and added another stump. I was quoted $400 for 4 stumps grinding based on Thumbtack and text pictures and was told by text, Dec 7th between 2 and 5pm and I would be updated on the ETA on the day. I waited at the property from 2 until 5pm. I did not receive any updates. I called, left voicemails and texted for an ETA. NO RESPONSE!! NO SHOW!! I think the 5-star reviews on here and Yelp are fake. His website links to get estimates or schedule do not work. He never responded to the Yelp request and pays no attention to Thumbtack bookings. He has not responded to any calls, voicemails or texts since. I went to Roy's Trees, who were very professional and prompt and did an outstanding job for the same price.
