FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our estimate is based off being as completely transparent and accurate with the information provided in the REQUEST. The initial estimate is based off each window being counted that has any type of frame around it. We realize customers often count groups of Windows especially smaller ones that may be grouped together. Because of this as a courtesy we will often add to the amount of windows cleaned or covered in the initial estimate. For example if a customer states that they have 15 windows, but they are smaller we will often include up to 25 window panels. Pricing adjustments: While most of our window cleaning jobs do not encounter any additional charges, these situations would completely be discussed prior to any cleaning. HARDWATER STAINING... When the mineral deposits have been embedded in the glass that do not rub off with regular scrubbing.....While mostly removable, the process often takes 3 times as long using special methods that restore the glass making it look new again... Construction Window Cleaning. Involves the removal of FIRMLY ATTACHED impediments such as paint, adhesives, or other construction debris that does not come off with regular scrubbing. We have performed hundreds of construction cleans and only utilize the safest most effective methods...This process can take 3 times or longer than standard window cleaning.... INACCESSIBILITY... While we carry an array of ladder sizes and special tools to access windows....if a cleaning requires excessive situations to get to the windows then pricing would be discussed prior to the cleaning....Situations could include items such as excessive foliage blocking the window, steep metal roofing, or roofing that is not walkable. Very unlevel ground or fencing that prevents normal ladder setups also can complicate the cleaning....While 95 % of the time we can access the glass without any issues or price changes we strive to be as transparent as possible and will discuss any items beforehand....
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First we talk with the client to learn more about their window cleaning needs. Certain details such as access to the windows, is there any construction debris that needs removed and/or any adhesive or excessive hard-water spotting is noted and addressed. We then schedule a time that is best for the clients needs.
