- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Depending on whether I am just cooking a family meal for 4 or a gathering for 10 I start by discussing the needs of the client and if it's something simple like a Monday night dinner I charge 15.00 pp, but if it is a gathering where more than 5 people will be fed like a dinner party I start at 25.00 pp. Again this is depending on the complexity of the menu.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Cooking is a constant learn process, you come up with new things everyday and even spring forward from old recipes to make them better. I attended Culinary Arts courses at Houston Community College in 1996 to 1997.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have had a passion for cooking my whole life. I wake up in the morning thinking about food and go to bed thinking about what I am going to make the next day.
