Wesley responded to me very quickly and I had a really nice trial lesson within a few days! He is definitely very good at teaching and gives detailed feedback in real time.May 3, 2020Verified
I will have my first lesson with him next Sunday however he was very flexible with my schedule and very polite. I am very pleased with my choice so far. Plus the value I am getting having a professional come to my home instead of having to go to him is without measure.Feb 23, 2019Verified
Wesley is a wonderfully patient instructor. My son was ready to give up the cello because he was frustrated with the students in his class at school. Wesley has renewed his interest in the instrument and I couldn't be more pleased with the instruction he is receiving. Wesley is knowledgeable, patient and kind. I have seen marked improvement since instruction with Wesley began. Wesley is quick to respond to my questions and is flexible with scheduling. I highly recommend him!Mar 5, 2019Verified

- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? My goal in the early stages of working with a new student is to identify learning style, practice load, as well as strengths and weaknesses of technique and musicality. These points will help determine the pace and approach to the early lessons.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?During my two cello performance degrees (BM, MM) at the Cleveland Institute of Music, I studied also Cello Pedagogy (Art of Teaching) under world-renowned Melissa Kraut and took 6 semesters of Suzuki Pedagogy Teacher Training to complete the entire Suzuki Method Cello Teacher Registration. During my final year studying at The Cleveland Institute of Music, I was appointed to CIM's Preparatory Faculty and also worked as Cello Faculty of Western Reserve Suzuki School, Hudson School of Music, and in Lakewood City Schools.
