FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Ultimate Pest was built from a passion for solving problems, helping people, and doing things differently in the pest control industry. Our owner started his career in the pest control and landscape management industries, gaining hands-on experience with everything from general pest control and termite treatments to wildlife management, weed control, and large-scale commercial properties. After years of working in the industry and managing teams, he saw an opportunity to build a pest control company that focused on what customers actually wanted: reliable service, honest communication, knowledgeable technicians, and a company that actually answers the phone! What started as a small operation has grown into Ultimate Pest, a locally owned Arizona pest control company serving homeowners, businesses, HOAs, and commercial properties throughout the Phoenix metro area. Today, our team brings over 30 years of combined experience, includes wildlife biologists, and specializes in everything from everyday pest prevention to complex rodent infestations, termite treatments, pigeon exclusion, and wildlife removal.

- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
One of our favorite recent projects involved tackling a major pigeon infestation at a large commercial property in the Phoenix area. The property had experienced years of pigeon activity, resulting in significant droppings, nesting materials, property damage, and ongoing sanitation concerns. Previous attempts to control the birds hadn't solved the underlying problem. Our team developed a customized bird control program that included professional pigeon trapping, population reduction, bird exclusion recommendations, and a comprehensive cleanup and sanitization plan. The project took approximately three weeks, with our technicians visiting the property multiple times per week to monitor traps, manage pigeon activity, and evaluate progress. What made this project especially rewarding was the complexity. Commercial pigeon control isn't as simple as installing a few spikes. It requires understanding bird behavior, identifying roosting and nesting locations, and developing a long-term solution that works for the property. With over 30 years of combined experience, wildlife biologists on staff, and specialized bird control training, our team loves tackling the complicated jobs that other pest control companies often turn away. At Ultimate Pest, we don't shy away from difficult pest and wildlife problems. Those are the projects we enjoy most!
