Introduction: I don't like to force a finish. Meaning I want to put the right work in the right spot. I like to take time to run through alternative ideas and find the right one. I love creating a nice room or area to look at. This way of making where you live into something that is yours is important. Not that you already own the place, but when you get to help design and find that look that gives you a special feeling then it is truly yours.

I originally contacted Adam Smith from Orange Dragon Designs to repair a kitchen cabinet that had been discolored. He did such a great job on that small job, I hired him again to refinish a coffee table and end table. His work on that project exceeded my greatest expectation, the furniture looks brand new again. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Adam Smith of Orange Dragon Designs, recently transformed my kitchen with a counter top cement finish and refinished my cabinets in a coordinating color. I found Adam to be professional, friendly, creative, and answers calls/texts in a very timely fashion. I have also seen other jobs he has completed, all of which turned out beautifully. We had Orange Dragon refinish all our kitchen cabinets, doors and drawers; cabinets including drawers and doors in three bathrooms; two office cabinets and our front door. The workmanship was superb. I never liked the cabinets when they were new. We had them redone by someone else and we were not happy. Now they look terrific and very updated. We could not be happier. Not only is their work beyond reproach, they are great to work with, very trustworthy, prompt, and keep the work place very clean. We thought their prices were extremely fair. Ask Orange Dragon for pictures of the work they did in our home. We are very proud of it.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes. There are always new products and always ways to refine. You have to learn more and try new things. I love when clients want to do something that is a bit off the wall or out of the norm. It really gives me the challenge of creating unique finishes. And that is always a learning experience. Kinda like how my 5 year old son wants a Death Star room. I hope Santa brings him one. ;-)
